Hi there! I'm Emily and I'm currently a senior at the University of Virginia in the McIntire School of Commerce, studying Finance, IT, Real Estate and minoring in Computer Science. I've received top marks in all my classes, and after graduation, I will be working as a real estate private equity analyst at KKR.

I specialize in tutoring financial accounting, managerial accounting, Investment Banking & Private Equity interview prep, Chinese, as well as CommonApp essay edits. I've been a private tutor for more than 5 years, working with various organizations. Most recently, I tutored UVA college students in financial and managerial accounting. I also have extensive experience in mentoring other students trying to break into Investment Banking and Private Equity. I've also taken classes at UVA's education school to further my knowledge in teaching and tutoring as a profession. My experiences have exposed me to the different approaches to tutoring as well as the different ways a student learns. I aim to bridge the gap between the two so that a student can reach their potential.

My professor reached out to me to tutor students in following semesters. Through this opportunity, I've gained over 50 hours of tutoring experience in financial and managerial accounting and my students have gone on to succeed in their exams.
