I am an artist, oil painter, textile and surface designer. My past clients have included Urban Outfitters and the Gap. Besides art, I love guiding young minds to think with openness and creativity. I have experience in the past with teaching children aged 5 to 10. My style of tutoring is collaborative, student-centered and discursive. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to art and creativity. If you feel you need to learn technique, then that is the right direction to go.
If you feel you need to explore approaches to art, that is right as well. Whatever a student is internally propelled to learn is always the direction that needs to be taken in terms of art.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
