For almost 10 years I did volunteer work with a special needs young woman. She was physically handicapped and mentally challenged. I took her on day trips. We also went to events such as the circus, cultural events, and movies.
Working with her required a great deal of patience and understanding. I was also employed to work with her for 1 1/2 years.
I believe that I am well suited to work with special needs people.
