I had to take a 6 week Calc course over the summer from 6-10 PM M,W,F while working 8 hours a day. Needles to say I had little time to study and was always exhausted. Matthew was my saving grace. He is very kind and patient and definitely knows what he is talking about. His hours were flexible and he met me at my home. He would always stay as long as I needed. I failed my second test, but after hiring Matthew, I achieved a high B in the class. He's worth more than your paying for. He is simply the best!
We contacted Matthew to help our son who is struggling with algebra. We were struggling to find the time to help him, and having to relearn the information ourselves was just hindering the help we were trying to give. Matthew fit our son in that same week so he could help him review for a test retake, and our son came out of the session feeling 100% more confident in his ability to do the problems. He couldn't stop saying how impressed he was with Matthew's knowledge of the material and the way he so easily made it understandable. He retook the test and earned an A, much to our delight! We plan to contact Matthew again!
Matthew was a very nice guy. He's extremely easy to reach through e mail with a very fast response. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a tutor.
Every student looking for a great tutor, look no further! Matthew is a great tutor and has really helped me so much with my algebra 2. He is understanding and goes at the pace you want him to! Great tutor!
Matthew was a pleasure working with, he taught me some of the key components of algebra that's used in calculus and other higher level math courses. I recommend him for anyone that needs help in math.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
