About Emad

Bio

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering Mechanics, with several semesters of experience as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in engineering. I love teaching, and have spent two summers at Duke University's Talent Identification Program, a summer program for gifted middle school students, where I taught Engineering Problem Solving.

Mechanical Engineering

I graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2017. I completed coursework in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, linear algebra, and differential equations. I also took a rigorous sequence of courses in Dynamics, including the Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos course by Steve Strogatz. I served as a Teaching Assistant for System Dynamics and Wind Engineering during my senior year. In graduate school, I have served as a TA for undergraduate dynamics, statics, and computational methods.
