Christen the Chemist

I'm Christen! I graduated with departmental honors for my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I just finished a Master's degree in Chemistry and am working on a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. I am fascinated with the over lap between chemistry and biology and have tailored my studies to further investigate this. My great love of these subject is what brought me to tutoring.

I started tutoring six years ago while obtaining my B.S. in Chemistry. I have tutored both high school and undergraduates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Microbiology over the course of the last six years. I tailor my tutoring style to the student's needs and style of learning. I have found that the majority of students thrive with sessions that focus breaking down the concepts or problems that they are struggling with into easier or known concepts. To compliment my extensive tutoring experiences I have also been teaching chemistry labs for the last three years.

I am here to help my students as much as possible and welcome any suggestions students or parents provide. I am quick to respond so feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session!
