Teaching is an enjoyable experience which started when I began teaching a Pre-Calculus course during graduate school. I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and assisted 20 students for two summers. After my time as a tutor, I have informally taught students through undergraduate research mentoring for the remaining three years in graduate school. As a post-doctoral researcher in a 3D printing, teaching has come through the form of giving laboratory tours and university lectures, explaining to visitors the basics of how 3D printing works. In addition, I have taught undergraduate independent study and lab design courses in the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering. From these experiences, I enjoy helping students succeed but am really interested in seeing them grow over time. What I aim to achieve is for students to become independent thinkers with the ability to solve problems from the classroom to practice.

I have taken courses in Math Calculus courses up to Differential Equations and Statistics courses in college and graduate school. Additionally, I have previous experience tutoring Mathematics at Champion Tutoring during my gap year before graduate school.

Extensive Biology coursework in Introductory Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Physiology, and Biomaterials. Chemistry coursework range from Introductory Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, and Mass Spectrometry. Over seven years of independent research experience using fundamental Biology and Chemistry concepts from graduate school to postdoctoral work.

I am very accessible, responsive, passionate and extremely dedicated towards helping students learn and ultimately succeed. Please contact me if you are interested in scheduling a lesson.
