I have instructed Virginia SOL review sessions for Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Most recently I had a 100% Algebra 2 pass rate with 30% earning Advanced Level passing.
I enjoy working with young people and seeing them grow in their critical thinking skills. I will patiently provide instruction in a variety of methods. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
