Bio

Hello, I'm Daniel! I recently graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, the number 1 high school in the United States and a huge STEM school. In the fall, I will attend UCLA to study Neuroscience. The math subject material is still fresh in my mind. Hello, I'm Daniel! I recently graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, the number 1 high school in the United States and a huge STEM school. In the fall, I will attend UCLA to study Neuroscience. The math subject material is still fresh in my mind. While I was in class, I often came across different ways to approach or solve problems that I wish I had known from the start. I have experience teaching my younger brother (1 year younger than me) and many other students these different ideas, so I will be able to help ingrain these different tips into your mind too! I am very friendly and willing to answer questions quickly and patiently, so feel free to reach out to me!

I earned a 1560 on the SAT, specifically a 790 on the math section, and am a National Merit Scholarship Finalist (score above 1500 in the PSAT). For both Calculus AB and Calculus BC, I have obtained 5s on the AP tests. I have also achieved an 800 on the SAT Math II Subject Test. I have mastered Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Trigonometry with As. Beyond the AP level, I have also taken Multivariable Calculus and received an A in Linear Algebra.

I currently work in a neuroscience lab and can provide insight into the usefulness and application of different subjects, as well as give tips on how to find an internship or job. I love humanitarian aid and have served in the Dominican Republic during spring break over three years teaching students science, math, and English.

Very good and professional tutor

Daniel taught me some SAT tips and is very kind. He knows a lot and will never get frustrated or upset if you ask him to repeat something if you don't understand it, and if you want him to talk slower. He cares about his students and is a very good tutor overall.
