I have been teaching healthcare in a clinical setting for the last (almost) four years. Typically it has been centered around my patients conditions, but I have also held small classes going over general concepts of anatomy and general health guidelines.
My professional interests include the biomechanics of human movement, athletic performance, and radiology. Originally I was enrolled at my undergraduate school for an Education degree.
In undergrad, I studied general and musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology. My other coursework was in pedagogy and the science of exercise. During pursuit of my doctorate, I studied musculoskeletal, visceral and neuroanatomy. I was able to grasp the variations of anatomy by observing and dissecting human cadavers. With other coursework in physiology, pathology, virology and parasitology, spinal biomechanics, endocrinology and neurobiology, I have a very thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Feel free to reach out to me, any and all questions are welcome. I have been teaching healthcare in a clinical setting for the last (almost) four years. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've taken undergraduate and graduate level courses in musculoskeletal, neurological and visceral anatomy, as well as advanced courses in Physiology, skeletal biomechanics, pathology, etc. and done very well in all of them.
I have taken graduate coursework in physiology, neurophysiology, and pathology and have a very good understanding of it.
