About Grace

I am a PhD Mathematician and a software engineer with tutoring experience in USA, Germany, and Korea. I have many years of tutoring experience as well as experience in teaching college classes and mentoring interns (calculus, linear algebra, finite mathematics, discrete mathematics, computer programming).

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. I am a researcher and software engineer. I started programming as a student before I started my career.

I specialize in object-oriented programming, such as Java, C++, and Python. C++ is my personal favorite computer language and also the language I am most proficient in.

I tutor high school and college students and also mentored junior engineers with object-oriented programming.

I led the lab for the college calculus at NCSU.

I have over 17 years of experience as a software engineer as well as mentoring and teaching interns for programming.

I minored in informatics for my mastered degree at University Hamburg. In addition, I completely several graduate level computer science courses at The George Washington University.

I minored in computer engineering for master's degree. Also, I took several graduate level computer science courses at The George Washington University.

In addition, I worked as a software engineer over 17 years.

I have a MS in Mathematics specializing abstract algebra and a PhD in Applied Mathematics specializing numerical analysis. I taught discrete and finite math at NCSU.
