I have helped over 100 students boost their SAT scores by as many as 250 points, and their ACT scores by as many as 5 points! Many of my students now attend schools including Yale, Cornell, and the U.S. Naval Academy. These results come from hundreds of hours of experience breaking down SAT and ACT problems into simple, easy-to-understand steps. During my lessons, I use prompting questions to help students understand the steps they must take to solve problems on their own. I am able to quickly diagnose weaknesses in the areas of time management, reading, math, vocabulary, etc., and turn them into strengths though my guided practice exercises.

I worked as a professional SAT/ACT and Elementary Tutor for Huntington Learning Center before joining Wyzant's platform. I have also guided students though the college admissions process. I have helped many of them improve their personal statements and application essays to reflect their stunning talent and persistent dedication.

When I do have free time, I would almost always rather be tutoring! Lessons with me are fun and engaging, and your student will become well acquainted with the feeling of success after the very first lesson. I am currently a licensed attorney and a 2017 graduate of BYU's J. Reuben Clark School of Law. During my time there, I was a lead editor of the Education Law Journal. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in April 2012 from Brigham Young University.

Wonderful Tutor

My daughter is so comfortable working with Anna. She feels much more confident and ready to take her ACT. After a few sessions with Anna, she was able to raise her English score to a 33, her most challenging section. Best part is how much she enjoys working with Anna, it has really helped her to stay on track preparing and given her confidence for test day.

One lesson in and we are happy!

Anna is working on ACT/SAT prep with my daughter. She has already had 15 lessons with another tutor and said she got more great information from Anna than she had from 15 lessons with her other tutor. She is looking forward to her next session. Anna has been great with communication. So glad we found her!

She teaches with patience, knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine care

After only a month of tutoring from Ms. Anna, I was able to increase my ACT score by five points and my SAT score by seventy points. Her strategies, tips, and guidance tremendously helped to boost my confidence and my scores. She teaches with patience, knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine care. Before receiving lessons from Ms. Anna, standardized testing was a chore and, her methods gave me a better understanding and appreciation of the material. Unlike other test prep methods, Ms. Anna offers a one on one in-depth genuine and high-quality lesson.

Anna helped me with both the SAT and the ACT. Before we started she asked me about my goals for each and what I wanted to achieve. I told her that one of the main things was that I wanted to only take each test once and get the score I wanted. Through Anna's patience and her test taking skills that she taught me I was able to finish taking my SAT and ACT after the first time. Each class she was enthusiastic when I learned a new concept or connected the dots and was very flexible with her schedule. Thanks to Anna I was able to complete my standardized testing earlier than I expected and achieve the goals that I told her at the beginning of our first session.
