I have been teaching languages (Russian, English, french, and German) in Grammar Schools (K-10) in and Universities in St. Petersburg, Russia (Academy of Fine Arts, Forestry Academy, St. Petersburg University) and later at the US Department of Defense and US Embassies in Europe and Asia. During my 30-year career I have been working extensively in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and have traveled all over the world.

I have written and published teaching and reference books on art, literature, and other area of learning. The books were written in Russian language and published in Barcelona, Spain. I have 41 copyrights. Also, in the course of postgraduate studies, I wrote 71 articles on various language aspects. Those were published in academic journals in Moscow and St. Petersburg Universities in Russia and in Tartu, Estonia.

Currently I work as a Russian Language Analyst and a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) consulting USG on Eurasian history, politics, economics, and cultures. I deal with Russian language, its dialects, argot, slang, and regional norms on a daily basis. Also, I provide simultaneous, consecutive, and sight interpretation in conference settings.
