In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I love teaching, and have been teaching Russian, French, German, and English languages, literature, cultures to children and adults for over 30 years.
Among my clients, there were administrators of large corporations, postgraduate research fellows, politicians, musicians, and 4th grade students.
The geography of students covers Europe, Asia, and North America.
The subjects range from simplified grammar and phonetics to role play, consecutive, and simultaneous interpretation.
Later in their career, my students translated and published books, taught their respective subjects in the foreign language they learned, at the universities overseas.
