I had my first tutoring session with Schuyler today. I must say that I am thrilled to be learning this kind of stuff with someone who is so patient! He thoroughly explained each concept and used many examples until I felt confident enough to go on to the next topic. By the end of the hour, I felt like I had a real handle on everything we talked about. I am looking forward to learning more from him!
He's a super chill guy that knows his math. If he doesn't know it, he will find out. We covered Differential equations in all our lessons and I probably would not have passed without his assistance.
Schuyler has been amazing, always making time for our son. He is an excellent tutor and we have been so pleased with him!
Schuyler is an excellent precalc tutor. He knows his stuff and is great at explaining it. Very patient as well. I highly recommend Schuyler!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I took this course at San Francisco State University and received an A in it. I have also tutored this course for my previous employer on SFSU campus. Also, I have taken more advanced versions of this class, namely, Exploration and Proofs, and Real Analysis. These two courses go much deeper into proof techniques.
