Hi, I enjoy teaching and believe in the fundamentals of education. I currently teach ESL, Literacy, English and Spanish. During the week, I teach ESL at an educational center in Northern Virginia. I am bilingual in both Spanish and English and speak both languages fluently.
I studied Spanish for a year in the Caribbean and have family members that are natives. Therefore, I am also excited to help you learn a new language. I can teach you how to read and write in Spanish or English. I teach ESL on a regular basis and have also taught Literacy for several years. I have taught numerous students from all over the world.
In English and Literacy, I focus on teaching phonics, consonants and vowels as well as reading comprehension and vocabulary. Because I understand that all student's learning needs are different, I design an individual learning packet for each student I teach to effectively help the students learn quicker.
I can help you improve your computer skills by teaching you Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Over the years, I have trained many co-workers at work learn new computer skills.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
