Econometrics,

Econometrics

I currently work as a statistician at the Consumer Product Safety Commission and formerly was employed as an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In both roles, I use/used econometric techniques every day. I have a strong working proficiency in both STATA programming and SAS programming and can supplement student's learning with programming help. Additionally, I completed the entire economics curriculum at the College of William & Mary which included several econometrics courses. I frequently attend economics conferences around the country and present economics research that uses these techniques.

STATA is my statistical package of choice. I produced sample code for the programs at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The econometrics courses at William & Mary were all taught using STATA. I've consulted on a number of projects that are STATA based.

Last minute tutoring before a due date

Even though I felt embarassed to seek a tutor three weeks into the semester and with a due date the next day, Tyler W. made the time (plus additional time) to help me learn how to do 9 pages of homework. Kudos to a phenomenal tutor! He saved the day!

Very knowledgeable and committed

Taylor really knows a great deal and is very committed and friendly! Also very proficient in Stata. 100 % recommended. We were discussing imputations, multinomial logistict and multin. probit models for panel data, (zero-inflated) negative binomial regressions...

Super knowledgable and helpful

Taylor is the best tutor that I have encountered on Wyzant!! He taught me how to do the cleaning process in STATA and use FIPS county codes to merge different datasets. He also taught me how to perform multiple regression analyses and produce graphs. There are a lot of challenges in my work, but Taylor guided the whole tutoring session very efficiently.
