I am originally from Djibouti a small state in East Africa. French is my native language. I have been living in Florida since 2009. I graduated from the University of South Florida and hold a degree in International Studies. I have experience tutoring students with French and helped my college friends with their French as well.
I recently moved to this area and I am currently doing two internships; I am working as a Research assistant in a humanitarian organization in Reston, and also work in student affairs as an Administrative assistant at Howard University.
I love working with peers and students. I was working in student affairs during my undergrad studies at the University of South Florida where I worked as a Transition mentor in the Orientation team. I am excited to start tutoring and work with students here.
French is my native Language. I am very familiar with french culture, and its geography, art, music, sports...etc. I have studied, French humanities and literature in High School. I also have experience tutoring peers and college students with French, helping them write better papers for instance, or help them practice their speaking skills.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
