Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Flute

I have a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music and a Performance Studies Certificate from The Colburn School. In addition, I have won top prizes in multiple solo flute competitions, including: The National Flute Association Young Artist Competition, The National Arts and Letters Woodwind Competition, The Flute Society of Washington Young Artist Competition, The New York Flute Club Competition... etc... I have played as a substitute flutist with the Baltimore and National Symphonies. I also have 6 years of teaching experience in my own private flute studio.

Music History

I have a degree in Music Performance from The Eastman School of Music, one of the top conservatories in the United States.
