I am a WordPress Tutor/Coach in the Alexandria area. I work with individuals and small businesses to help them understand how to create, upgrade, and maintain their WordPress site. I can show you what pitfalls to avoid and how to manage your site properly.
I have worked with various levels of clients such as the American Floral Endowment, American Clinical Laboratory Association, and The Food Bank of Corpus Christi, TX. I also work with individuals on all levels of WordPress experience from simple blogs to ecommerce websites. I also actively troubleshoot and manage a number of WordPress websites.
If you need help with themes, plugins, or connecting your WordPress site to social media, I can help you. WordPress is a very popular open source software and many jobs are now looking for persons with that skill. Online videos are good, but often you need a one on one session in order to get you to the next level. I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, so I can assist you with the technical and strategy side of getting your personal or small business site off of the ground. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
