Throughout my Elementary, Junior High, and High School experience, there was always a common theme. I really struggled in math. I just didn't get it. After Struggling for so many years, I decided that I had struggled enough. I had goals that included math, and I wasn't going to let my math difficulties take that away from me. So I buckled down and gave it my all once I had made it to my Senior year in high school. The story doesn't end there, I had to work like crazy to succeed in my college math classes. I went to the extreme of re-writing my math textbooks in words that made sense to me. I am a living example that people who struggle in math can master it.
For 20 years, I have been teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Advanced Algebra, And college Algebra. Once common core rolled around, I began to specialize in integrated secondary math 2, Integrated secondary math 3 and College algebra. I regularly assist college students in Trigonometry, though I don't teach it on a day to day basis.
If you need some help in high school math or college algebra, I can provide assistance. Thanks.
