Utah State University - Logan, Utah (Psychology, Math)
It's nice to meet you! My name is Thomas, I am a college student attending Utah State University. I am 26 years old and my strong suit is math. I will be graduating in December 2017 with my BS in Psychology and a Math Minor. A few words that can describe me include: enthusiastic, professional, organized, self-motivated, fun. I think math should be fun, and that's my goal in every tutoring session, to teach how to have fun with math.
I have multiple years of tutoring experience. I've always had a knack for explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. As a teenager taking beginning algebra classes I excelled in everything math related and I enjoyed helping those around me. Through college taking trigonometry and calculus, my friends and classmates came to me for help. I spent a year in Draper, UT helping high schoolers prepare for math tests and improve their grades. I currently tutor math for Utah Valley University students and the surrounding community. I also cover most parts of Utah and Salt Lake County
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology and general studies, a minor degree in Mathematics, 3 years professional math tutoring, Math education extending through calculus 3 differential equations (including work with matrices, algebra, and trigonometry).
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your academic goals! INTRODUCTION

Thomas is nice and knows his stuff. He made it fun for my 13 year old with helping with his math homework.
Thomas is great tutor. He has helped my son a lot. Thank you! My son has a hard time understanding his math teacher. Every Tuesday and Thursday Thomas helps my son and he gets it every time.
Tom has a gift for helping his tutees gain confidence and is able to draw out knowledge they already had but could not work out. We were sidelined by and illness and Tom has been amazingly accomodating switching between online and face to face sessions. We will continue to use Tom as needed and would recommend him to anyone seeking a tutor for their high school student.
My son felt more confident after his first session with Thomas. He is finally starting to get the concepts. I'm glad we did it.
Learned a ton and we didn't just hurry through the questions he made sure I knew what I was doing before moving on. Really nice to. Would like him to tutor more.
I just finished a Calculus 3 class last December so everything is still fresh.
I took the class "Differential Equations" in college 6 months ago. Calculus, including differential equations, has been my favorite subject. When I took the class, I received an A grade. I feel like I have a solid understanding of the topic and I've had various opportunities to help my fellow classmates with their homework. This is one of my favorite topics to tutor.
