I worked as a tutor at Weber State University throughout all four years of my undergrad and for the last 2 and a half years since graduating. I love seeing the concepts click as the material is explained from a recent graduate's point of view, and not from a seemingly all-knowing teacher/professor. I have received countless excellent reviews from peers and others, and I strive to keep up on the material that I tutor so that students will continue to feel comfortable and see the successes that they are making in the course.

I also love the fact that there are so many different ways to tutor and that for all students there is a method that fits. Whether its hands-on learning or tutoring by demonstration and then repetition, I have done copious amounts of research on how best to match a teaching style with an individual for their maximum success.

I am a 4.0 student in all of my college level math classes and as previously mentioned, completed my master tutor certification through the College Reading and Learning Association through a master project -- one where I researched and analyzed reasons why college students (and all students) struggle, and an appropriate remedy for each unique situation. I currently work as an adjunct math professor specializing in college algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics.
