Utah State University (Math Ed.)
I have been an active teacher and math tutor for sixteen years. I just moved to the area and am wanting to continue teaching, which is my passion. I have taught high school as well as at risk teens in treatment programs. I have also taught honors students seeking a greater depth of understanding and college students needing to graduate. :) I can reteach any lesson if necessary or just supplement a lesson based on student needs. With my experience, I am able to teach most things by just looking at the topic, making your time and my time more efficiently used.

My degree, classroom experience, and my years of tutoring have trained me to be able to address topics quickly and easily. An hour with me is an hour well spent.
Very good and patient with my son. Very quickly was able to identify problem areas & address them. Highly recommend.
Meg was very good at teaching me ways to understand the math that I'm taking she's very knowledgeable about math of any type and she is willing to take her time if your struggling with something.
Meg was wonderful with my 14 year old daughter. They hit it off right away and my daughter seems more calm about the new school year after having spent time getting organized with Meg. I would recommend her to anyone, particularly if your child is struggling and needs to build self-confidence.
My daughter came out of her tutoring session with Meg feeling like it was SO helpful and that the way Meg explained it made so much more sense than the way her teacher at school was trying to teach them. She came out feeling encouraged and able to do it.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
