I taught college level chemistry laboratory courses for almost 3 years. I also did research during that same time on the heavy metal lanthanides, actinides, and bismuth.
I have two publications in peer reviewed scientific journals I love learning about chemistry and sharing that same knowledge. I hope to one day solve our energy crisis by implementing thorium based nuclear reactors, which are far safer than uranium reactors. I believe educating people in chemistry can alleviate fears about widely accepted false stigmas and allow us to advance our scientific knowledge in the hope that we can create a brighter future for the generations to come.
I have experience teaching undergraduate (college level) general chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry courses at a major university. I love educating people about chemistry.
I am a fun guy that loves talking chemistry. I try to get everyone I meet with questions or misconceptions to understand the science/chemistry behind the issues behind the concept in question. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
