I am a Nurse Practitioner with a love for writing and grammar. I have been in practice since 2009. My favorite part of my Master's Program was my thesis project: researching articles, referencing in APA format, and formulating a convincing argument.
I recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing (December 2015, an 18-credit program). I strengthened my writing skills, argumentation, research, and communication skills.
My love of grammar, writing in general but especially scientific and research-based writing, proofreading, and helping others to form convincing arguments for research papers.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
