##### About Robert

I am a retired Professor of Meteorology. In my 30 year career at Rutgers University I taught and advised hundreds of students. I am well versed in the basic sciences and especially mathematics. I have an easy going style of tutoring and I speak precisely and consistently to convey points of importance to the student. Repetition is the key to teaching and learning. I like to discuss a particular issue then have the student repeat back to me what they heard and/or demonstrate to me that they understand the particular concept of importance.

I was an top math student myself all through high school and college. I took 6 calculus courses in college and two statistics courses.

I can tutor most math up to and including Calculus I, but no geometry or trigonometry teaching.

I welcome parents and students to contact me with questions about my qualifications, methods, and style. We can arrange to meet at your convenience in order for us to get to know each other, before you hire me.
