SAT cumulative score 2220

I really enjoy tutoring, it was always amazing to see students I have tutored succeed in subjects they thought passing would be unreachable. I love helping my students set and reach goals. I like to test my students and see where their weaknesses are on the very first meeting and then hone their skills to overcome those weaknesses.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Genetics

I have an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and have taken multiple courses on genetics. In addition, I have a strong foundation in biology. I have also done research using genetic bacterial vectors to create proteins such as enzymes.

Organic Chemistry

I have tutored organic chemistry for a year at the University of florida and am a third year biochemistry major.

Very smart and patient

Amanda is amazing with my son. He needed help with chemistry and she is able to help him understand it. Amanda also gives me advice as to what he needs to study more. Great tutor my son really likes the way she explains things.
