Hello Potential Students. I have learned and taught pharmacology, biology (general bio, metabolism bio, cellular bio, nucleic acid bio), physiology/pathophysiology and some biochemistry for 20 years in 3 state universities and one private school. Pharmacology is my primary subject. I also work as a licensed pharmacy technician so I understand pharmacy practice as well as theory. I have passed the PTCE (Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination) and am PTCB-Certified. I take pride in being able to coach a "D" or "C" average to a "B" or "A". For those having difficulty in a course, my approach is to breakdown complex material into digestible pieces so you can recover from a bad exam day and will not wreck your entire grade.

As part of instructing, I have written exam questions for 20 years so I know what tends to be assessed and how. This helps us design the best approach to learning material efficiently and applying it. Strategically, I like to look at your course syllabus and understand what sub-disciplines are taught, in what depth and detail and how they are assessed. I will help you be organized, pick out important details, and learn from experiences, good and bad. Thank you for reading this!

I have also taught basic sciences and conducted federally funded research at 4 institutions including professional doctoral-granting schools. The research taught me what parts of science are important to know and what parts are more for "reference". Perhaps because I streamline material, I was fortunate enough to be voted teaching awards by students at all 4 institutions. I have also served and chaired the Admissions Committee for a School of Veterinary Medicine, so I know what is expected for acceptance into professional programs.

As I described above, my approach to tutoring is to mentor as well as teach/review. We have to develop a working strategy that respects your time, yet boosts your course success and builds your subject knowledge and skills.

I had very little to offer on material to cover. He took what I was able to provide and ran with it. Pulled together a PowerPoint for me to visualize. My classes fail to really focus on HOW things work and this lecture was able to really help me understand that. Chad made so much more sense than just trying to memorize. Listing the side effects and helping me remember them by outlining how and why they are produced. I'm already looking into setting up my next session because I feel like he's going to be my saving grace through this pharmacology class

Great tutor

Understands a lot about pharmacology and is very helpful every time I book an appointment with him. He’s also available for sessions later in the day which is great for people in college.

Knowledgeable and effective tutor

Maximizes the use of time in reviewing points that are needful to know. Brings life into tutoring because he knows the material. I will recommend him over and over again.

Very helpful and great with explaining methods.

I was doing poorly in my Pharmacology course. The textbook and lecture content was way over my head. For every sentence, I read or heard I needed to look up those concepts. I reached out for a tutor. Chad was the first person I contacted and I am so grateful for his assistance! He is very patient and breaks down the content as well as asking me if makes sense to me. I look forward to working with Chad again. He makes this difficult content easier to understand. I wish I found him earlier in my semester.

Outstanding tutor

I cannot say enough good things about Chad. My son was struggling with his Patho class and we connected with Chad. In a 10 day period my son met with Chad and passed a retake and a final. He gave my son the confidence and a true understanding of the subject matter. My guy is finishing up his sophomore year and we plan on keeping Chad on board for his studies. THANK YOU so much

intelligent tutor!

Chad really helped me understand pharmacology at a graduate school level. Chad allowed me to understand the basics first before diving into specifics of my class. He also took whatever time he had out of his day to help me!

Excellent Tutor

Great practical examples of material. Consistently good use of time and knowledge of advanced pathophysiology topics. Will keep using Chad as my tutor. Thank you!
