I have my masters in Psychology and my undergrad work I focused on human development and early childhood education. I have held a variety of tutoring jobs as well as taught in an advanced math after-school program. I have also taught preschool and coached swim team. I love to work with new people and love helping students understand what they are learning. I am patient and willing to work as slowly or as quickly as each student needs.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
