Nathan tutored my daughter and her friend and after he left and even before the door was completely closed they both said at once that he was the smartest guy they had ever met! I told them that I was glad he was smart but asked them if he knew how to teach. They both said he was the best teacher they had ever had. Smartest and best teacher in one person. I don't see that very often.

When my daughter, Alex mentioned that she needed a tutor and we went searching for the ideal fit, I had no idea that we would end up so lucky! Not only is Nathan knowledgeable and helpful, but he also explains things well (a talent not to be underestimated, as Alex better understands concepts that are explained from top to bottom without leaving out any of the details in between).

In addition, in Alex's own words, "Nathan connects with you to make you feel comfortable". So Nathan is not just tutoring. He's going the extra mile. He enjoys helping people. He wants to create a pleasant experience and wants the student to truly understand the material and enjoy learning. THIS is what makes our kids willing to learn and will keep them coming back for more.

If you're considering Nathan, you've landed in the right place. Work with him for even one session and you'll be glad you did!

Nathan has been helping me for several weeks now with business calculus and I have not had a bad lesson yet. He is very patient when something is hard to understand and will work to make sure it is understood. Nathan is very knowledgable and does a great job explaining the logic behind problems. My confidence in math has increased significantly since I have started working with Nathan. He is also flexible with hours and will find time to fit a lesson in whenever it is needed. Overall Nathan is a great tutor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Nathan went over study guide questions for my microeconomics class and taught me some really cool tricks. He was great at bringing this economics material into its fundamental core.

Nathan helped my son understand a calculus assignment he'd been struggling with. He is a positive tutor who teaches with clarity and patience. We could not be happier.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

My ACT score is 32 with Math being my best subject. Half of doing well on the ACT is knowing how to take tests so I work on test taking strategy in addition to subject practice. With my help and hard work you will increase your ACT score!

I am a student at BYU getting a minor in mathematics with a GPA of 3.79. I have been tutoring math for over two years now including calculus and trigonometry. I am flexible with tutoring location and will work hard to meet your needs.

I received an A in Math 113 at BYU. This class is equivalent to BC calculus dealing with integrals and derivatives. I also worked for a semester as a tutor in the BYU Math Lab, tutoring for both Math 112 and 113. Math 112 is AB calculus dealing mostly with derivatives.

I am a student at Brigham Young University getting a minor in mathematics. I have just completed a course on differential equations and earned an A. This grade reflects well my grasp of the subject matter. I worked with another student in the class and we helped each other perform well by explaining difficult concepts to each other.

I have received a certificate for academic excellence in mathematics, and have tutored on and off campus for two years. I am confident that I have the experience necessary to help you understand differential equations.

I passed a rigorous econometrics course at Brigham Young University in Winter Semester 2016. We used the program STATA to analyze data. I gained skills in using statistics to predict outcomes and identify issues analyzing data such as multicollinearity.

I am an economics major at BYU. I have received and A in all of the required core classes I have taken so far including Econ 110, 380, 381, and 378. These classes cover micro and macro economics, price theory, statistics for economists, and general supply and demand analysis of markets and individuals. I received a letter from one of my professors for excellent performance.
