I am an Arabic learner and tutor 7+ years of experience. I studied with some of the top language programs in the world, including Brigham Young University, Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan, with The Language Flagship at Arab American Language Institute in Morocco, and as a Fellow at the American University in Cairo. I have also studied Middle Eastern Studies, Political Science, and Gender Studies. I am a passionate learner and teacher.

I love to add cultural and fun aspects to my language teaching and I enjoy watching my students grow in their passion for and ability to speak Arabic!

As a former (and current - we never stop learning!) student of Arabic, I understand why and how certain concepts can be difficult for learners and have many strategies to help students overcome these challenges.

I am an Advanced speaker, reader, and writer of Arabic with an extensive background in Modern Standard, Egyptian, and Jordanian Arabic with over 3 years of experience in tutoring and teaching all levels of Arabic. I excel at teaching beginning and intermediate Arabic and specialize in helping intermediate speakers reach advanced levels. I have the equivalent of a Masters in Arabic language, with over 130 credit hours of various Arabic instruction. I have extended experience living in Jordan and Egypt and high fluency in both dialects, especially Egyptian. I have a "Superior" score in MSA speaking and have won competitions in Arabic debate and can equip Arabic learners with the same skills and tools I have to help them succeed to the same extent. I also offer OPI training to help students perform their very best and achieve the highest scores possible for them

During my years of teaching/tutoring Arabic I have assisted linguistic professors in creating curriculum that uses the best language learning strategies to yield the best and quickest results for learners, and I use these strategies in my own teaching.
