I hold Master's degree in Physics. Read Brainy. Physics is Applied Mathematics, and I can tutor anything in Mathematics. I am an exceptional tutor if you like pictures and models. I am no slouch with equations, but bare algebra bores me. I like applications - magnets turning inside coils, or electricity twisting around a magnetic core. I develop a tool bag with my students. Then the trick is simple - find the right tool in your bag.

I am an expert in any of the Sciences, including Chemistry, Darwin's Speciation by Natural Selection, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Geology.
I speak English, Spanish and Hebrew fluently, Dutch (Netherlands) and French at a rudimentary level, and have decided to study Svensk (Swedish). I am especially good at finding the roots of words, and familiarity with a spectrum of Germanic, Romance and Semitic languages is the key.
I tutor SAT and ACT. Yes, you CAN improve your scores.
I taught Physics and Astronomy at University for many years, worked for the Princeton Review teaching SAT and ACT, and was a high school Math and Science teacher for 2 years. I was a ski patroller for a decade and taught Anatomy and Physiology as well as Mountaineering for many of those years.
I do NOT have a photographic memory. Therefore I use tricks to memorize equations and techniques. The most common trick is mnemonics, such as ROYGBIV, but there are others. Physics is not math describing the natural world, but PEOPLE using math to MODEL the natural world. Most people and most children have the amazing abilities to memorize faces, recall stories, and recognize relationships and patterns. I use these natural abilities for memorization. Physics is notation. Every symbol has a name and a face, every equation has a name and a story, and I work with my students to construct models that are easily recalled. The human mind can then explore the model for details. F=ma is not just an equation with 4 symbols, but a human story of the puny Newton toppling the giant Aristotle - a David and
