Hi, my name is Caleb R. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science, and am currently completing a PhD in Animal Nutrition and Growth. While completing my undergraduate degree in Animal Science I was a TA in production orientated classes. Once I started graduate school, I have continued TAing classes. The courses I have taken and assisted with range from applied hands on classes to molecular focused classes. Additionally, I have volunteered to teach to local Youth Programs.
My educational training, both undergraduate and graduate programs, has prepared me to tutor a variety of courses. I would be confident tutoring courses in both applied and molecular areas. The courses I would feel confident tutoring include, but are not limited to, General Animal Science, Beef Cattle Management, Feedlot Management, Growth and Development, Animal Physiology, Cell Biology, and as well as both advanced and applied animal nutrition classes.
With tutoring, I like to design the lesson plan for each individual student. This entails gathering a baseline, and building upon it. The backbone of my teaching philosophy is to help my students develop the ability to think critically, gather and find critical information, understand their findings, and then be able to share their findings. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
