I have been a classroom teacher for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade and have taught a concentration in 6th grade for reading and language arts. I have previously been certified as a GT (gifted and talented) instructor and have previous private tutoring experience. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
