About Brandon

I'm college student at both Weber State and the University of Utah as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Major with a minor in mathematics. I tested straight into college Calculus my freshman year and have taken all the way up to Partial Differential Equations in which I received an B. And I've also taken Calculus based Physics levels 1 and 2. When I played hockey at Weber State, I was the unofficial team tutor. I enjoyed helping many of the kids on the team pass their math requirements. Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Differential Equations

I have taken and passed ODE and PDE with an A-, B+ respectively. I have used PDE in two of several of my engineering courses, and PDE in electromagnetics and Heat transfer.

Linear Algebra

I took linear algebra at Weber State University and received an A. I also use linear algebra techniques in many of my engineering classes. I have also taken ODE and PDE which use ideas from linear algebra to solve many equations.

MATLAB

I took both Numerical Methods and MATLAB classes from SLCC. I also use Matlab to compute complex formulas in all engineering labs.

Wonderful

Brandon helped me a lot with calculus. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help understanding the material. He has a way of putting his explanations that make more sense to me than when my teacher explains it.
