BYU (Intl relations)

I am majoring in International relations, minoring in philosophy, and becoming certified by the Brigham Young University in the Portuguese language. I taught English in Brazil while I was there and have completed subsequent courses in Portuguese grammar and Brazilian history.

I am a practiced public speaker, activist, blogger, and university student with technical training in political writing, philosophical writing, and statistical writing.

I like to push my students but be their friend while doing so. Gosto de trabalhar e aprender, mas gosto de me divirtir no mesmo tempo! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
