Brigham Young University (Spanish)
Thunderbird School of Global Management (Master's)
After living in Santiago, Chile, for two years, I fell in love with the Spanish language and the idea of doing business abroad. Upon returning to the states I pursued a bachelor's degree in Spanish which took me to Spain for part of the studying as well as allowed me the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the publication of a Spanish language book. One week after graduating with my BA in Spanish and a business minor I began a Master's degree through Thunderbird School of Global Management in International Business with a focus on Latin American business. At the time Thunderbird was ranked for the 15th+ time in a row as #1 in International Business. In between semesters I took a job in Lima, Peru, as a micro-enterprise consultant dealing solely with the training of small business entrepreneurs. With an extensive background of foreign travel and study including spanish speaking countries such as Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru and Spain I feel that I am sufficiently prepared to be an excellent Spanish tutor. With work abroad as well as a master's degree in business, I am confident that I can be a successful business tutor.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a master's degree in business from the then ranked number one international business school in the world (Thunderbird School of Global Management). While attending there I spent time in international consulting.
I have played 15+ years on many different competitive and recreational teams and have coached several teams as well. Took college credits as well on the sport.
I played for several years on both school and traveling competitive teams. Our high school team almost three-peated as state champions and our traveling team has been to nationals. I played as a libero.
