I acquired my Master’s Degree from University of Maryland, College Park in May, 2013. My program was in the field of World Language Education – Chinese Teaching, and I graduated with the Maryland Chinese teacher certification (K-12). I have also achieved my Bachelor’s Degree majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in Beijing Language and Culture University in 2010, which is the Top One university in this major in China.
During these years of learning and participating in related teaching activities, I received rich experience in teaching Chinese with language learners from various language proficiency levels. From this one-year student teaching internship in Maryland, I also found myself a teacher who knows how to make use all kinds of resources to assist my classroom teaching.
As a professional Chinese teacher, I would also combine my good communicating skills with my positive attitudes to cooperate with teachers in school and parents of my students in order to build a harmonious and supportive working environment.
