I have over 20 years of experience teaching science ranging from middle school to college. I have both undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and two additional master degrees. I was Teacher of the Year in 2011 and the number of students passing the Texas Chemistry End of Course Test has never been below 96%, with 100% passing in 2013.
My job is to work myself out of a job. I can meet at the student's home, a neutral location, or tutor via Skype.
Although I am not a miracle worker, all of those students I have tutored have successfully passed their science classes.

My tutoring style is pretty easy going; however, you will learn. Some of the methods and techniques I use may not be what you are used to, but I assure you they are time proven for my students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
