About Melody

I offer multi-sensory lessons for reading, spelling, and writing for all ages. I am also available for second language support for those who want to improve their English skills.

Many students face some challenges in their learning. Struggling students need the material presented in a logical and positive way, building on previous learning to mastery.

I have taught Public Montessori, Gifted Education, and Special Education in the past. I enjoy working with students of all ages. I am trained in dyslexia therapy training through an IMSLEC approved training program in Dallas. Member of Academic Language Therapy Association and the International Dyslexia Association.

I am interested in working with individuals who live close to Woodway/Waco.
I can travel to child care facilities and schools if they are able to provide a quiet place to work. I also work in my home. Dyslexia therapy works best with several sessions each week. Adults with reading difficulties usually make rapid progress. Reading better can change your life.
