Over the course of my undergraduate and graduate career, I have studied theory, composing, arranging both as part of my coursework as well as privately with nationally-acclaimed composer and arranger Jay Bocook and Baylor University Director of Jazz Studies Alex Parker. I have had my music performed by various jazz and rock groups and percussion ensembles. I am currently one of the music arrangers for the Baylor University Drum Line.
I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in percussion performance at Baylor University, where I am the principal drum set player for the Baylor Jazz Ensemble. I have played drum set with numerous collegiate jazz bands, jazz combos, and percussion ensembles.

I have an undergraduate degree in music education and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in music performance. I am proficient in music theory, music history, and I am actively involved in music education research.
