I graduated summa cum laude from Belhaven University and have continued with my graduate work in English at the University of Dallas. Tutoring is a unique opportunity to get focused teaching that deals with the areas in which you want to improve, and I have found that this one-on-one setting is much more useful than many hours in a large classroom. For seven years, I also developed and taught a two-year college level Survey of Western Literature course that offered a very broad exposure to a wide set of literary works and have helped many students come to better understand, appreciate (and hopefully love) the wealth of stories and poetry that we inherit. One-on-one feedback and tutoring was a central part of all of these classes. I held f
