Blinn College (Computer Science)
Personable, energetic man looking for work tutoring in the Tomball/Spring area. I am very patient and enjoy working with others who might need a little (or a lot) of help understanding school work. My hours are very flexible, and I do not mind traveling; I am always happy to adjust for work and activity schedules. I look forward to helping expand the knowledge of anyone who might need it, and am eager to begin working.
I currently hold an Associates degree in Computer Science as well as several Cisco and CompTIA certifications. Working with computers and technology has been a life-long hobby that I am working on turning into a career. I have completed coursework through Calculus III and Linear Algebra and was able to pass AP tests for English to skip both Composition I and II. I enjoy reading (everything from Sci-Fi to biographies) and have a strong command of the English language.
I have been assisting my peers for years with school work and have professional training and supervisory experience. I am continually trying to grow my knowledge base and improve my skills and have maintained my interest in learning since I was very young. I believe that I have the ability to help others learn (and enjoy learning), as well as improving their performance in their academic careers.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
