I'm knowledgeable and patient. I believe it is important to build on the student's confidence as well as their skills, because panic hurts performance almost as bad as being unprepared.

Mr. Mark is super patient!
My son is very excited about playing chess, but at the same time, he is having a hard time maintaining his focus through the class as he is only 5. Mr. Mark is super patient and really tries to find games that are suited to his level and understanding but also introduce ches’ fundamentals. Mr. Mark is also very experienced in working with young kids and embark their interest and help them grow. Overall, great experience!! Thank you Mr. Mark

Excellent
My 6 year old grandson enjoyed his first lesson with Mark! He did an outstanding job communicating with him. He made learning in the game fun. He enjoyed it so much instead of waiting a week for his next lesson we scheduled his next one just a couple of days later. I would highly recommend Mark he is very knowledgeable of the game and communicates very well even with a six year old boy. Thanks Mark!

Knowledgeable, patient and great with my grandson
Very patient, so my grandson was not frightened but rather stimulated to want to keep taking lessons. Started out with very basics and taught at the right speed for my grandson to absorb and retain.
