In my 14 years of teaching AP Biology, and my three years of teaching AP Environmental Science, my students' pass rates were well above the national average. I loved school as a student, and was very fortunate to have wonderful teachers that got me interested in science and made me want to get my students to like it as much as I do.
I really love when my students decide that biology is the field they want to study in college because I have made it fun for them, and I look forward to helping more students understand and enjoy science. It is such a terrific field, and there are so many careers that can spring from a love of science and the wonders of the natural world.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
