Hi, everyone! I am Carrel P., and I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. I am currently finishing up my Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University. I also own a private music studio (teaching piano and harp lessons). I have had experience with tutoring. I tutored students in Math (K-12 Math) and General Chemistry. Students have told me that they've done well in assignments and exams after receiving some additional help from me.
As a my teaching method, please let me know exactly what topics you are working on in class, so I can prepare some example problems and assignments prior to the tutoring session.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
