For the past 14 years I have taught reading as a Kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten year is the foundation of reading. This experience has made me a better reading tutor by enabling me to identify a student's weaknesses in reading. No matter the student's age, once the missing skills are identified we can work on those skills to build up reading ability.
As a current teacher in an elementary school I am very familiar with the techniques and skills being taught currently. Also since I am in a public school daily I have access to peer help and resources to help with any educational need.
