Hi! I have been working with a variety of students - from the very young to the non-traditional adult student. I specialize in English, Humanities, History, Politics, German, GED, SAT, and ACT. My intention is to achieve small successes with each student, in an effort to assist the student in building confidence while working toward their goals. I believe that a strength of mine is providing non-threatening, open learning environments. I further believe that all students learn differently and that it is my responsibility to find the way that works best for each individual student.

My joy for teaching extends to pilates and yoga.
I look forward to making each session alive and interesting, focusing on helping the student make real connections between learning and life. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
