Hello, I'm a graduate student going to school here in the suburbs. I was a TA for Biochemistry as well in college for 2 years. I love the sciences and my forte is biology including anatomy/physiology. I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering in 2011 so i like math as well. In addition, I can also tutor for math up to Algebra II.
My teaching style consists of explaining concepts from a birds eye view so that the student can understand the grand scheme of things and then delve into specifics. Questions are really important so i try to engage the student in conversation rather than just me talking.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
