I am presently a self-employed attorney practicing in the area of civil rights. I am a retired Supervisory Special Agent with the offices of Investigations and Internal Affairs for the legacy U.S. Customs Service. I have five years of teaching experience at the college level. For all students I believe English is the most valuable background you can have. For those aspiring to positions in the criminal justice system, I believe English and History (American and British) are the most valuable backgrund courses you can take. I have testified on numerous occasions as an expert witness on criminal procedures such as search and seizure as well as taught critical courses in the civil liability of criminal justice practitioners.
